As we begin term 6 we would like to thank you for all of your support with the distance learning projects over the last term. Staff have been making contact to check in on students and we have had lots of constructive feedback from parents, carers and students.
Students have been diligent in submitting their final pieces of work for last term. Some of the work that has already been submitted has been phenomenal, and staff are really impressed by the number of students who are managing to produce high quality work independently. If your child is working on paper from a pack, please keep the work safe and try and regularly photograph work and email to teachers where you can, in order for them to receive feedback.
As the uncertainty of the future for the different year groups continues, we understand that learning at home also continues to become increasingly more difficult for families. It is really important that if you have any concerns at all, that you contact the school. If you do have any subject specific enquiries about any of the work set, please contact your child’s individual subject teacher. All email addresses can be found on the school website under the contact tab.
We have modified our provision for next term. All students will need to log on to Show My Homework and Google Classroom daily, where they will see that staff have given them clear guidance on when work should be submitted. Staff are also regularly sending emails to students through their swale.at accounts, so please encourage them to check these before they start a piece of work.
The regular weekly updates in the Newsletter continue every Friday so that you stay informed. It is great to be able to share examples of the activities and work that students are doing whilst they are staying at home, so please encourage them to continue send it to their teachers or Ms Henocq, so that it can make an appearance.
Please do remember to continue to check the school website for all updates and announcements.
We hope that students are feeling rested after the half term break and we are looking forward to working with you all again in term 6.
Thank you for your ongoing support and feedback.
