Admission information for new intakes

This page will give parents of current Year 6 students information about the process of enrolling your child at PCS ready for the new school year starting in September 2009.

PCS produces a newsletter called Countdown for Year 6 parents every month in the run-up to the new school year. This newsletter contains useful information on day-to-day life, details of school rules and policies as well as advice and recommendations for students experiencing secondary school for the first time.

This newsletter is supported by one-to-one interviews. Every new student is given the opportunity to come to PCS (with their parent/carers) and speak to the student's mentor about how PCS operates. Vital documents like uniform order sheets, trip deposit forms and essential consent forms are also explained at this time.

Every new student will receive the first edition of Countdown and a welcome letter from our headteacher, Mrs Cryer. The editions of Countdown will also be published below.
