Golden Time Information

On a Friday PCS finishes at the earlier time of 2.40pm.

This is our equivalent of Friday afternoon ‘Golden Time’ which students experience in primary school. Students who lose their Golden Time will remain in school until 3pm and will spend their Golden Time in a classroom, supervised by a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Students can expect to lose their Golden Time for any of the following reasons:

• Failure to have the ‘Golden Five’ (file, planner, pen, pencil, ruler) during a whole school spot check
• Failure to have the correct uniform (including make-up and jewellery) during a whole school spot check
• Failure to attend, after a reminder, a Post Work It Out meeting. The Post Work It Out meeting still needs to take place!
• Failure to make up Lost Learning Time. The Lost Learning Time still needs to be made up with your teacher!
• Arriving late to school for the second time in one week

Parents will be informed via our text informer service on a Thursday if their son or daughter is losing Golden Time.

We are using text informer, because it is a quick and efficient way of communicating the same information to a number of parents / carers.
