What do the 'working at' levels mean and how do I know what my child should be achieving?

The working at level is the National Curriculum level or GCSE grade students are currently achieving - this is based on performance in class, homework, coursework, tests and modular exams.

Explaining student achievement is far easier through dialogue and there are opportunities to do this at parents’ evenings and teaching staff are more than happy to have phone conversations with parents. So please do get in touch.

What other information can I expect to receive during the year?

Approximate issue dates for reports for the year 2010 - 2011 are as follows:

• Year 7 - January and March
• Year 8 - January and May
• Year 9 - February and July
• Year 10- January and July
• Year 11 - December
