Autumn Concert

On Thursday 18th October, students from PCS performed in the Autumn concert.

Over twenty year 7 students performed `Sing`, the 80s hit `Down Under` and `Tonight`s Gonna be a Good Night` with gusto.

It was their first concert at PCS and they all rose to the occasion in front of their parents and carers. From year 8, we had an amazing performance of `Let it Be` from Bronwyn Abigail, Jack and Fynlee who learnt this song in class.

Music veterans Zac, Freddie and Mac performed `If I had a Gun` and `Live Forever` and Freddie played and sung his first solo performance at PCS. Isabelle, Jade, Maisy and Emily performed a beautiful arrangement of `A Thousand Years` with vocal harmonies.

Courtney, Finn, Malachi, Ruby, Rome, Louis and Archie in year 9 performed `Zombie`, their own composition and `Boulevard of Broken Dreams` as two separate bands with the support of Max on bass.

There were also impassioned solo performances from Nathan in year 11 and Florence who sung `A Team` and accompanied herself on the ukulele.

Well done to all the performers who did themselves proud.

"What a beautiful music concert! All the performances were a joy. Big well done to Team Music for summoning enough energy to produce a tribute to everything that is wonderful about our school." Miss  Bliss.
