Nick Gates -

We have nearly registered all of our DofE students. Those registered should now be able to log in to Edofe and upload evidence; pictures or documents for the activities they are undertaking. And use the site to help guide them through the DofE.

We have been having and will continue to have regular weekly meetings on a Thursday in mentoring in FT2. Students know the drill; on Thursday Morning, register with your mentor and then come to CAD CAM please.

Important dates for diaries we have confirmed the two overnight walking and camping expeditions will take place on:
Friday 7th to Saturday 8th (finish approx - 3pm)
Saturday 21st and 22nd September (finish approx - 3pm)

We have yet to confirm the exact locations for them but they are likely to take place in campsites near Ditchling and Polegate, details and routes still to be finalised. And we will let you know all the information as soon as we have completed all the necessary planning for these trips.

We will be undertaking a training day for the students this term (date to be finalised) to prepare them for their expeditions, run by our expedition organiser, Bright Expeditions and staff in School, during a School day . We will let you know the date once confirmed.

Many thanks

Mr Gates
