My awesome experience at the Interactive Science Day at Brighton University was really fun and I learned a lot.
I loved the different activities; my favourite was the simulation of a patient – I loved this because it had many different settings; In this case the patient had tachycardia (High heart rate) and we had to give it epinephrine which acts as an adrenaline blocker to reduce the heart rate.
One of the most intriguing activities was when me and my group were looking at the levels of sugar in certain food and drinks. It was interesting to see the various levels and made all of us in the group realise that maybe we need to look at our diets a little closely.
The facilities at the University were brilliant and I hope we can go and visit them again soon.
