Letter from New Head of School

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself, Darren Warner-Swann, as the new Head of School at Peacehaven Community School.

Some of you may already know me; I was part of the team that established the school in 2001 and most recently working as Deputy Head Teacher until I left 3 years ago. I am very keen to get to know parents and carers, as well as the students and staff, and re-establish the positive links I had made. From my experience of work in a variety of schools, we can ensure that all students enjoy their time at school and make excellent progress if we all work together.

I am pleased to say that PCS is now a member of Swale Academies Trust and will benefit fully from wide ranging expertise and enhanced resources available to the staff and students.

The Leadership of PCS has been strengthened with the inclusion of Liza Leung as Executive Headteacher. Both Liza and I have successfully worked together as part of a school improvement team for the past 5 years and our aim is to take PCS from strength to strength.

Meet with the new leadership team and me on Tuesday October 8th at 6.00pm.
