PCS VS Durrington

On Tuesday 26 February PCS travelled to Durrington High School for the quarter final of the cup.

Durrington got the game underway but immediately PCS won the ball and went on to punish them with an early goal, which was converted well by Josh. PCS continued to play strongly with more chances falling our way. Durrington managed a few attacks but the defence of PCS managed to shut it out strongly. PCS went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

In the second half PCS found rhythm playing the ball around nicely and creating many attacks. Shortly after Josh then scored again with creative play down the left wing with Charlie putting the ball in for Josh to capatalise on. 2-0 PCS. Durrington continued to create chances of there own but the PCS defence was solid and allowed them nothing. In the final moments of the game Ryan won a penalty for PCS. He stepped up and cooly converted the penalty to wrap up the game and give us a place in the Semi-final. Man of the Match went to Lewis who worked hard in the midfield.
