On Monday 18th March PCS year 9 football team travelled to Paca for an away fixture.

PCS started off on the front foot putting Paca under immidate pressure and not letting them keep the ball. PCS got the ball down and played it around nicely when eventually we scored our first goal, in the first 5 minutes, when Josh got hold of it on the edge of the box and smashed it home into the bottom right corner. Before halftime PCS had scored 3 more, putting us 4-0 up, with goals coming from Ryan, who struck it well with his weak foot, Josh and Nobby with great individual play beating 2 opponents and putting it in the net. Halftime 4-0 PCS.

In the second half Paca came out strong and where putting pressure on the PCS defence but were not able to make anything of it. PCS then managed to get forward themselves with a ball over the top of the defence for Charlie who got onto the end it slotting it under the keepers body and making it 5-0. PCS continued attacking with Ryan taking on 2 players and getting brought down in the box. Ryan scored the penalty placing it into the bottom left and making it 6-0.

PCS defensive continued standing firm and allowed Paca no opportunity of scoring. Ryan then picked up the ball and took it past 2 opponents and then took it past the keeper and smashed it into an empty net scoring the last goal of the game and making it 7-0 to PCS. Man of the match went to Will who was solid in the midfield and had great vision and determination to allow Paca nothing.
