Harvey Waller - Thursday, July 12, 2018

After a period of rehearsal on a devised piece based on A Midsummer Night's Dream a group of our students spent the day at the Birley Centre in Eastbourne on Tuesday 10th July .

It was a truly fantastic opportunity for them to be working in a professional working theatre and to meet all the other performing arts students from the other Swale schools.

Their performance was electric and truly outstanding. Their understanding and delivery of the text and telling of the story was exceptional as was their comic timing. Our performance was drama based and was therefore unable to win outright as it didn't fit the performing arts criteria. However we won the movement on stage award (physical theatre) and the students were buzzing afterwards as were their parents who supported us.

Please congratulate - Charlotte, Aimee, Lydia, Sofia, James, Bailey, Evie, Ethan, Daniel, Sophia, Samuel & Fatma.

Many thanks to Mr Robertson for leading on this excellent piece of theatre.

Parent Review

"I just wanted to say again how much we enjoyed the show last night it really was a wonderful experience and I believe that all of the schools did a fantastic job.

I think that yourself and Mrs Alborough put together something really special in a short amount of time and you should be very proud of yourselves, as should the students. Each and every one of them performed so brilliantly and I was so proud of them representing PCS in such a professional way.

I know we may be biased but in our opinion PCS won..... :-)

Really hope it continues for years to come.
