Statement from the Head of School

Harvey Waller - Friday, March 08, 2019

You will probably be aware that we had a child bring a pocket penknife in to school on Thursday 7th March.

I want to reassure all parents that this was handled swiftly and appropriately in line with our behaviour policy.

It was a penknife and no-one was hurt. It was confiscated and we are investigating, taking appropriate action.

We have reported the incident to the police. Clearly there are no circumstances in which it is acceptable or appropriate for a knife to be brought into school.

If anyone has any concerns we are more than happy to speak with you, please do ring to book an appointment.
