On Friday 22nd March, PCS took eight of our Year 8 students to the Swale Debate Competition at the North School in Kent.
Our team had prepared a debate about the pros and cons of performance enhancing drugs and we performed this with expertise.
In the second round, we had to argue in favour of students studying foreign languages at school. We really did ourselves proud in this round and made it through to the semi-finals. Overall, we came third, which was a fantastic achievement for our students.
Well done to our talented Debate Team, who now have plans to involve more students in debating.
