Y8 Rugby Report

On the 2nd October, the year 8 rugby team played Blatchington Mill in the Sussex county cup.

We started off well with some great passing and tackling from the entire team. Unfortunately we turned our back at a penalty and they broke through our defence to make it 5-0 to them. However, we played some free flowing rugby with the ball in hand and Josh levelled the score at a try each.

Shortly after the half time whistle, Blatchington Mill scored their second try from one of their giant forwards. In PCS style, we never dropped our heads and put their defence on the back foot. A rampaging run from Ciarin allowed a quick ball though to Tobey, who scored in the corner. The final score was 10-10, a great result so early in the season. The man of the match award went to Ciarin.

Well done to Josh, Malachi, Tobey, Ciaran, Adheem, Pierre, Daniel and Nobby.
