We are now approaching Christmas and the end of Term 2.
I would just like to send a quick reminder about the use of mobile phones in school.
Mobile electronic devices must stay at home or in lockers, this also includes headphones. If mobiles phones or headphones are seen during the school day they will be taken to the office and locked in the safe and your child will be able to collect it at the end of the day. If a student has their phone taken from them twice in a term then it will have to be collected by a parent.
If your child carries a phone for medical reasons they will be provided with a slip explaining this.
Last day of term
We will be finishing at 12.25pm on the last day of term, Wednesday 19th December, as we have done in previous years. Food will be available for all students during the morning break.
Ms R Joseph
Head of School
We are inviting you to an information evening at PCS at 5pm on the 16th October.
As a parent or carer you can play a vital role in helping your son or daughter remain confident calm and focused during this period. In past years many parents have asked how they can support their children during their GCSE exams, and so we would like to help you do this and work in partnership with PCS to do so.
This letter contains information regarding staff changes and the start times for Tuesday 4th September.
Takes place on Thursday 4 May 2017, which will run from 3:45pm until 6:30pm.
This is a vital opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress with the individual staff who teach them and work in partnership with us to support your child as they prepares to move up to Year 8.
Dear Year 11 Parents and Carers,
We have INSET day on 28/04/17. However, students should still be working towards their GCSE exams at home.

Following the information given to your child regarding on-line applications for Year 10 Taster Days, please be aware that the listed colleges have informed PCS that they are experiencing website difficulties and at present you are unable to apply on-line.
As soon as the colleges have informed us that they are in a position to take on-line applications we will inform you. We have extended the deadline for application forms to be returned to the school by 29th March 2017.
