Our aim at PCS is to ensure that all pupils achieve or exceed their target grade in all of their subjects. The PCS Passport was launched to help support students achieve this.

Students have been given a passport task in each of their subjects and with help and support is currently working towards achieving their interim target grade.

The tasks vary within each subject and are dependent on the needs of each student. For example: PE or Drama may offer a practical task but History or French may provide a written one. Some of these tasks are done in class and some may involve a homework, depending on the needs of each subject. Each task is marked and then written feedback with specific steps to improve, is given to each student. The student is then expected to act on that feedback to improve their work within the deadline set by their subject teacher.

There are three PCS Passport stages throughout the school year; autumn (1), spring (2) and summer (3). Your child’s success at each stage will be celebrated and rewarded, with a greater celebration of success when all three stages are completed in the summer term.

Please discuss with your child the different tasks they are completing in each of their subjects and how best to help support them achieve their target in each subject.

All students should be recording their results in the PCS Passport section of their planner so they have an up to date record of when they have succeeded in each subject.

You will find tasks for each subject under each year tab in the PCS Passport section of the website, or use the links below.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact Miss Bird rbird@pcs.e-sussex.sch.uk for Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10.
