Please congratulate Sophie if you see her – she is really thrilled and I am sure that she will be an excellent representative for young people in East Sussex. Please also congratulate and commiserate Amy Boswell and Rhys Lamberth as they fought good campaigns and showed real bravery to put themselves out there, but ultimately there are only two positions and that’s democracy – they are both very philosophical about it. Thanks for all of your support in this election and for all of the encouragement that you have given the candidates. They have definitely done us proud again.
