GCSE Results

Ester Asieduaa Ansah examines her results with head teacher Helen Cryer
Late August is always an anxious time for Year 11 students as they nervously await the results of their GCSEs which will determine their college courses or employment opportunities. Students at Peacehaven Community School were thrilled to find their results were the best ever achieved at the school with 64% achieving 5 A*-C and 57% achieving 5 A*-C including English and Mathematics. In addition, many students exceeded their potential.
Notable successes include Grace Tobin, Adam Leadbitter, Hayley Clothier and Oliver Knights who achieved 9 or more A* and A. Emma Brown, Erin Page and Jack Rowlands achieved 7 or more A* and A. Vanessa Tait, Caiah Morash, Dean Kent and Tom Cooper out performed their targets dramatically.
As PCS celebrates its first decade this year we are so proud of all of our students’ achievements, grateful to the staff who have worked so effectively with them and their parents and carers whose support is critical.
