Glyndebourne Trip 2011
On Monday 11th July, a group of pupils (The Glyndebourne Choir) took a trip to the Glyndebourne Opera House. There we were joined by four primary schools to listen to each schools songs. One at a time they called out a school and they performed. As we were the only secondary school we performed a mini opera which consisted of four songs, Don’t Stop Believing, Tragedy, When We Collide, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. We added acting and dance moves to it.
Tragedy by The Glyndebourne Choir
After we had performed we combined all 5 schools to sing a song that we had just learnt. After that we all sat in the lovely warm sun and had a delicious picnic with all our friends and family.

This was a culmination of months of hard work from students and staff. It was a fantastic way of celebrating this great project. Fancy being involved next year? Then look out for further information to come in September.
