The ancient chest of drawers, the broken washbasins, the broken doors, the tattered deckchairs, rotted carpets…. These are some of the items in the garage where Michael first finds Skellig. All Year 7 have just finished reading the novel, Skellig by David Almond, a magical book that they will remember for a very long time. One of the homework choices was to make a model of the garage. Georgina Sutton & Miss Mantle's year 7 class have also produced some fantastic garages. They used recycled materials and the results are fabulous. “Extraordinary”, said Mina. “Wonderful”, said Michael.
