A Star Day

On Friday April 1st, ten year 11 students bundled into a minibus bound for the University of Sussex in search of tips, tricks and techniques which will help them to break the grade barrier when they sit their GCSE exams this summer.

Master-class sessions including ‘The Bigger Picture’, ‘Weaving in the Writer’ and ‘Poetry – Staring at the Stars’ were held by a variety of professionals, including our very own Mrs Pannett. Our students made wonderful contributions to the day and came away with a sophisticated set of skills that are certain to help them achieve every success in their upcoming exams.
