Towner Gallery Visit

Towner Gallery Visit
On Tuesday 15th, 14 year 8 art and design students accompanied Ms Elliott and Ms Matthews to the Towner Gallery to view their current Exhibition,the work of Franziska Furter and to have a private view of their permanent collection. The trip supported current learning taking place in the classroom looking at Landscape artists and the abstraction of shape in landscape composition. In the afternoon the students took part in a two hour workshop exploring the texture and shape found in landscape painting using aerial photography and the work of famous artist Eric Ravllious as inspiration.
