PCS celebrated World Book Day 2010 with a visit from the award-winning author Bali Rai on Monday 1st March. Bali talked to Y10 students about himself and his writing, focussing on multiculturalism. He then ran running creative writing workshops for KS3 students throughout the day. All the students involved thoroughly enjoyed the sessions.
Drop Everything and Read
We also held our customary Drop Everything and Read event where all students and staff across the school enjoyed reading a book of their choice for the first part of the school day.
