Christmas Concert 2010
On the evening of the 14th December the main hall was filled with the many varied sounds of the Peacehaven Community School Christmas Concert. The range of musical styles on offer could not be replicated in one evening without dashing between symphony halls, church services, nightclubs and rock music venues.
Notable performances included the Year 10 GCSE group who had the sound system throbbing with the sounds of Robert Miles’ Fable, while Will Mitchell’s piano solo was at once exhilarating and haunting.
The night was rounded off in style by a soul band made up of both staff and students with Jeverdurn Eddie fighting off illness to give a rousing performance of Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed and Delivered.
