Young Mayor Results
An incredibly close result and a huge well done and thank you to all candidates who have been extremely confident and worked incredibly hard in campaigning for your votes. Megan will now become Peacehaven Young Mayor and Mo will become her Deputy. The other three candidates didn’t get elected, but this is not the last you will see of them as the Town Council is keen that they still work closely with them in helping to vision what they want Peacehaven to be like in the future.
Hoddern: Mo Bacha got the most votes, followed closely by Megan, then Cara, then Liam and Jimmy in fifth
Peacehaven Infants: Megan Foster picked up most votes here, followed by Liam, then Mo, then Cara and Jimmy in fifth
Telscombe: Liam Denby got most votes here, again followed very closely by Cara and Jimmy in joint second, Megan just behind in fourth and Mo in fifth
Meridian: Megan came first here, followed closely by Liam, and then even more closely Cara, fourth was Jimmy and fifth was Mo
PCS: Mo Bacha was the clear winner here, followed by Jimmy, then Liam, Megan and Cara.
A total of 1708 votes were cast across Peacehaven schools.
Fifth: Cara with 304 votes
Fourth: Jimmy with 306 votes
Third: Liam with 349
Second: Mo with 361
First: Megan with 372
OVERALL: There were only 66 votes between first and fifth.
