Careers Fair Visit

On Thursday 12th March, 45 Year 10 students had a fantastic opportunity to visit the East Sussex Schools Careers Fair.

Many post-16 providers, School Sixth Forms and Further Education colleges were on hand to talk about the different courses they have on offer for all students in East Sussex schools.

The Apprenticeship providers had useful information on apprenticeships in a wide range of sectors.

Many businesses kindly gave up their valuable time to attend and made themselves available to talk to students about job opportunities within their sector.

All in all, this was an invaluable experience for all attendees. Students were able to be hands-on and interactive at many of the exhibitor stands, which gave them a real insight into what happens within real jobs, in real workplaces.

97.8% of our students rated the experience as Good, very good or excellent.

93.1% of our students thought that they had learnt something useful for the future.

‘’Everyone I spoke to was polite and kind and it was interesting to see what opportunities there are for me in the future.’’ RT

‘’It helped me to think more about what to do after PCS.’’ SA

‘’Loads of people to speak to about future careers, very engaging and interactive.’’ AB

As a school we would like to thank Bexhill College and Edwards Vacuum for funding the coach to enable our students to attend this event for free.
