Perfect Performance
It was a busy weekend for Mia in year 7 at the South Theatre Arts Festival.
Mia performed her new Musical Theatre solo for the first time, having learnt the whole act in just 3 weeks. She put it all together on stage and came away with 2nd Place.

She also performed as part of her Large Character Group, who took 1st Place.
Most importantly, Mia really enjoyed being on stage, giving each performance her best and having lots of fun with her dance colleagues.
A lovely weekend of performing, learning and enjoying the experience.
We are all incredibly proud of Mia. Well done!
Sussex Swimmer
Dominik in year 7 had a great start of the swim season at the Ken Deeley Meet on Saturday, achieving Personal Bests (PBs) — especially in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, where he is now very close to the Regional auto qualifying times for next year.

Dom is also part of the Sussex Swimmer Development Pathway.
Everybody at PCS alongside his family is very proud of him.
Well done Dom!
Howzat!
Madison took part in her cricket awards ceremony this weekend, where she won an award for the most improved player in 2026.

Madison went from watching cricket at Sussex with her dad to signing up to St Peter’s cricket club where she joined in January. She has made many wonderful friends and her confidence has come out a lot. She now plays for under 14s, under 16s hard ball and women's softball…
Madison is looking forward to next season!!
Sporty Sisters
Huge congratulations to two very sporty sisters!
We are delighted to be able to share two incredible sporting accomplishments by Ella in year 8 and Bethan in year 11.

Ella competes for Harbourside gymnastics academy.
At her last competition in Jersey she achieved:
Gold - vault
Gold - bars
Gold - floor
Bronze - beam
Gold overall and overall champion
She is heading to America to compete for the ISA IGC worlds competition in June 2027.
Ella will be competing on the world stage. What an amazing opportunity to represent the club internationally due to her hard work, dedication and passion. We will be wishing her the very best of luck!

Bethan plays rugby for Seaford and Hastings and Sussex Barbarians. She has been selected for the Sussex development squad and won back of the season last season.
We wish Bethan every success for this coming season and look forward to updates.
Well done to both sisters!
Aquathalon Achievement

Eli Pingram completed an Aquathalon with the Lewes Swimming Club on Saturday 18th July. He swam 100m and ran 400m. His time of 6 minutes & 36 seconds is swim time, transition time, and run time.

He won a medal and will be taking part in the next event with an even longer run and swim! It took a lot for him to sign himself up, and it is a massive achievement in which he did amazingly well!
Super Swimmer

At PCS we love to hear about our students' interests and achievements outside of school. We were delighted to hear about Callum's commitment to his swimming at Lewes Swimming Club. He swims twice a week and thoroughly enjoys it.
His favourite stroke is freestyle and over the last 2 years he has received numerous ribbons and medals when representing the club. Well done Callum!
Amazing Athlete
Rory finished 8th in England in The English Schools’ Athletic Association 800m final on his debut.
Back in February, Rory was ranked 136th in England and set himself the goal of qualifying for English Schools. Through hard work and determination, he finished the season ranked 8th in England and now with some championship experience under his belt, he has already got his sights set on next year.

Family, friends, and all of us at PCS are super proud of him. He is talented, dedicated, resilient and above all, a true sportsperson.
