Scrapbot Challenge

Students Scrapbot Challenge

On Thursday 18th April, six girls from PCS got the chance to attend the Scrap:bot Creator Challenge.

A creative, hands-on physical computing workshop for Primary and Secondary students.

The day included guest speakers from leading tech industries and a chance to build and code a moving robot! Throughout the day students worked collaboratively with a primary school, our students worked with Alfriston.

Prizes were awarded to 3 teams which showed teamwork, resilience and creativity. I am pleased to say we won one!

Well done to all the girls that took part and I hope we can use some of the kit we won to motivate more girls into tech related careers.
