Student Council
The Student Council is an important part of the decision-making process in the school. It is an elected body which serves to represent the views of all the students. It is the role of the Student Council to improve the school and to effect change.
Full Student Council meets every 4 weeks to discuss issues which have been raised through the four Community Team Meeting (CTM) Student Councils and is made up of elected representatives from those Councils.
Every Mentor Group elects two students in September to represent them for the year on the CTM Student Councils which meet fortnightly. The Community Champions and the two Student Governors are also members of the Full Student Council.
Representatives from the Student Council also meet with our partners in the community at Youth Action Team (YAT) meetings which take place three times during the year.
